'DOVI – THE SERIES’ is airing on SKY

“DOVI” is the new ten-episode documentary series about the career of Andrea Dovizioso, directed by Luca Curto and produced by Digital Lighthouse in collaboration with SKY. It’s been available on SKY since 12th of September 2025, and on demand on NOW.
“DOVI – The Series” retraces the personal story of the Italian champion — from his beginnings in minicross and minimoto, to his 125cc world title, through his achievements in MotoGP and historic duels with Marquez, to the rise of a new fan favorite: DesmoDOVI, and finally the fulfillment of his dream: the 04 Park Monte Coralli in Faenza, Romagna.
“DOVI” tells the uncommon story of an atypical champion — an “invisible” figure who made his mark with charisma, determined to remain true to himself. It recounts a journey where normality becomes strength, where fear and courage coexist, and where victory comes even while staying authentic. A series of never-before-seen moments and emotions for two-wheel and motorsport enthusiasts alike. Conceived by director Luca Curto and produced by Digital Lighthouse in collaboration with SKY, the series revisits the incredible sporting and personal saga of Andrea Dovizioso. From the cathartic victory in Sepang in 2016, with tears inside his helmet, to the triumph at Mugello in 2017, despite a food poisoning episode that nearly kept him from racing, from battles with the top riders of the early 2000s two-stroke era to the challenges aboard modern MotoGP bikes — a long story that marks Dovi’s evolution and personal and athletic maturity, blending rationality and madness into a winning balance. In the background is his recent commitment to realizing his dream: the 04 Park — a place for motocross, for enthusiasts, for the people, in his homeland of the Romagna region.
A rich archive of historical photos and television footage showcases the duels and feats on track, intertwined with Dovi’s own narration — exploring the dual soul that drives him, both on and off the track. A candid, introspective, and clear-eyed storytelling of what it truly means to race — not only to win at any cost, but also to do so while remaining true to himself.

Digital Lighthouse has an office just steps away from the new motocross track, overseeing F1 and automotive projects in the Italian Motor Valley. The first meetings between director Luca Curto and Andrea Dovizioso are enriched by a flood of memories from the champion’s MotoGP years — memories that share the same DNA as the dream taking shape with the 04 Park. Luca convinces Andrea to bring this story to the screen, and it becomes a documentary series that captures the interest and collaboration of Sky.
